Unique Team Structure
Unlike other national brokers, IIB does not separate program design, placement and client service; our focus is client service. Every IIB professional is a salaried employee in order that their focus be the client’s best interest.
IIB is organized with a unique team structure. Each team is a unit whose members work closely together daily. The team structure also permits better collaboration across traditionally separated product lines. We believe that in addition to providing better client service, the “cross-pollination” of product lines provides a synergistic environment where new products are developed for the benefit of our clients. The teams are comprised of the following specialists:
Client Executive – this is the team member whose specialty is client deliverables. Sales Professional – the IIB Sales Professional is the team member responsible for introducing the rest of the team to new clients. The Sales Professional’s expertise is IIB, our values, our unique delivery system and explaining why companies can benefit from IIB’s single point of contact and unmatched perspective.
IIB employs a matrix management system whereby each team member reports primarily to the Team Leader but also has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Practice Leader of their discipline. The various insurance disciplines keep abreast of the latest developments in the industry through this collaboration with their colleagues on other teams. This organizational structure also serves to keep the teams from becoming overly competitive – again to keep everyone focused on serving our clients best interest.
